HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05072013 - C.63RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74-433-2 with Michael Levin, M.D., a self-employed individual, effec-tive May 1, 2013, to amend Contract #74-433-1, to increase the payment limit by $94,080, from $116,480 to a new payment limit of $210,560, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment funds. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On December 4, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-433-1 with Michael Levin, M.D, for the period from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013, for the provision of Outpatient Psychiatric services. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74-433-2 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services to include two additional days per week of Outpatient Psychiatric services in East County, due to the departure of another psychiatrist, through December 31, 2013.
