HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05072013 - C.43RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/197 to approve and authorize the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with California Department of Aging to decrease the contract amount by $81,827 from $4,012,910 to a new total contract amount of $3,931,083 due to implementation of federal sequestration reductions to the Older Americans Act. FISCAL IMPACT: $3,931,083, 100% Federal, Older Americans Act. Decrease the total contract amount by $81,827 from $4,012,910 to a new total contract amount of $3,931, 083 (Agreement #AP-1213-07, Amendment 2) due to federal reduction in funds. BACKGROUND: The Employment and Human Services Department, Area Agency on Aging provides services to low income older residents of Contra Costa County (CCC) under the Older Americans Act.
