Bueren, Public Works Director/Chief Engineer Date:May 7, 2013 Contra Costa County Subject:Bailey Road Maintenance Surcharge Disbursement Agreement between Contra Costa County and the City of Pittsburg BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Board of Supervisors approved the established amount of surcharge necessary. The Bailey Road Improvement Disposal Surcharge was collected from Keller Canyon Landfill pursuant to Condition of Approval 29.7 of Keller Canyon Landfill Land Use Permit 2020-89. The Bailey Road Maintenance Surcharge Disbursement Agreement establishes the method for disbursement and allows the transfer of fees to the City of Pittsburg collected from Keller Canyon Landfill for the maintenance of Bailey Road. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The disbursement agreement would not be approved and the City of Pittsburg’s share would not be disbursed to the City of Pittsburg for the maintenance of Bailey Road.
