Dear Inspector Nelson :
This will ooufirmthe results ofour meeting with you onJune 9th
and your later telephone conversation with George Wolfson of the
Byron Group.
The topography and layout of our project make vehicle access to
'
several areas very impractical. Rather than' providing a paned
aooeoo to within 150 feet of all portions of the exterior walls
of every building, it was agreed that the following features will
be an acceptable alternative to such access:
l. A fire sprinkler system in all areas of the building
using quick response beada
.
2. & smoke management program for all stairwells.
I ga.
3 . Two fire hydrants along Tice Valley Boulevard in front
of- the project with precise locations to be specified
by the Fire District.
4 . The main entrance to the building to be designed for
fire vehicle access with 13' -6" vertical clearance and
a 28 foot minimum inside turning radios.
5. ' J\ fire 'department connection designed in accordance
with yJFPA standards to be provided at the main entrance
to the building with the precise location to be as
specified by the Fire District.
