HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04232013 - C.26RECOMMENDATION(S):
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21278 to decrease the hours of one permanent full-time Certified Medical
Assistant (VTWC) position No. 12088, at salary level QB5 1088 ($3,051.44 - $3,709.04), to a permanent part-time
20/40 position in the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost savings of approximately $32,714, including reduced pension
costs of $7,900.
BACKGROUND:
Due to personal circumstances, the incumbent (employee number 70782) of position number 12088 in the
classification of Certified Medical Assistant, has requested to decrease the hours of this full-time position to a 20/40
part-time position. This request has been appropriately evaluated by management and it has been determined that as a
20/40 hour position, the operational needs of the Concord Health Center will still be met. Therefore, the Health
Services Department is requesting to decrease the hours of this full-time position with incumbent #70782 to a 20/40
hour position effective April 1, 2013.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the Concord Health Center will be unable to coordinate staffing needs appropriately.
