HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04232013 - C.18RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5078 authorizing new revenue in the amount of $1,891,987 from California Health Benefit Exchange, and to provide funding for operations and support of the Contra Costa County Covered California Call Center in the City of Concord. (100% Federal) FISCAL IMPACT: The appropriation adjustment of $1,891,987 is to recognize funding for the current fiscal year which was awarded by the California Health Benefit Exchange through Federal Funds under the Affordable Care Act. No County general purpose revenue will be used to support the Call Center. BACKGROUND: On March 19, 2013, the County Board of Supervisors approved and authorized the execution of contract with the State of California for call center services. The term of the agreement is Februay 1, 2013 through January 31, 2015. The maximum amount stipulated in the contract is $25,398,647. On April 16, 2013 the Board also approved a lease for a facility located in Concord.
