HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04162013 - C.36RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-521-10 with Nanda K. Sinha, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $675,000, for the provision of professional Orthopedic Surgery services to patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is 100% funded by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On March 23, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #76-521-8 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #76-521-9) with Nanda K. Sinha, M.D., for the period from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2013, to provide orthopedic surgery services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers including, but not limited to, clinical coverage and consultation. Approval of Contract #76-521-10 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide Orthopedic Surgery services, through March 31, 2016.
