BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
four (4) Account Clerk-Experienced Level positions would be better utilized to support four (4) Child Support
Assistant positions. The Child Support Assistant position has a much broader scope and can be utlilized for many
different work assignments. Creating the Child Support Assistant positions will allow the Department greater
flexibility to assign work to the appropriate level of staff.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action were not approved, the Department would remain limited in its ability to assign work to the
appropriate level of staff.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact.
