HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04162013 - C.07RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE the conveyance of an Easement Deed to Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a California corporation pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6. DETERMINE that the conveyance of said Easement Deed is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District’s (District) use of the property. AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute the Easement Deed on behalf of the District. DIRECT the Real Estate Division of the Public Works Department to cause said Easement Deed to be delivered to Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Project No. 7562-6D8518. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. Bueren, Public Works Director/Chief Engineer Date:April 16, 2013 Contra Costa County Subject:APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the conveyance of an Easement Deed to Pacific Gas and Electric Company BACKGROUND: Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District owns the real property known as APN 057-050-008, located at Deer Valley Road in Antioch. Pacific Gas and Electric Company has requested an easement for utility purposes over a portion of said property to construct, reconstruct, install, inspect, maintain, replace, remove and use facilities as described in the Easement Deed. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared and a Notice of Determination was posted on November 3, 2010. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Pacific Gas and Electric will not have the necessary right of way for the utility services. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
