HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04092013 - C.111RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a non-financial agreement with Youth Homes, Inc. for student work experience program and use of the Community Services Bureau Head Start Childcare facilities including mutual indemnification against any claim arising solely out of the performance of this agreement for the period of March 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Youth Homes, Inc. will use the Employment and Human Services, Community Services Bureau Head Start facilities for work experience placement. Youth Homes, Inc. participants will be placed in CSB offices and /or childcare facilities to gain work experience in office skills and childcare. Youth Homes, Inc. will coordinate and consult with CSB director, or designee, regarding all use of the facilities by the staff and program participants. Youth Homes, Inc. will provide oversight, monitoring, instruction and compensation to the program participants.
