Subject:Purchase Order with Olympus America, Inc.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this Purchase Order is not approved repair and replacement costs for gastro intestinal flexible endoscopeswill be
greatly increased. The purchase price of flexible endoscopes usually totals $15,000-$30,000. Repair costs often total
½ of the original purchase price of the scopes. With relatively frequent repairs required these endoscopes are
expensive to maintain. This capped contract helps keep the repair costs down and provides quality repairs.
