HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04092013 - C.84RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-327-31 with On Assignment Staffing Services, Inc., a corporation, effective December 1, 2012, to amend Contract #26-327-29 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-327-30), to increase the payment limit by $1,599,000, from $6,307,600 to a new payment limit of $7,906,600, with no change in the original term the Contract from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-327-31 will allow the Contractor to provide additional temporary help services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, through May 31, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Amendment is not approved, Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers will not have adequate funding to support additional temporary admitting, registration, billing and collection professionals, registered nurses, respiratory therapist, radiology technicians and other ancillary classifications, to cover specified peak loads, temporary absences, or emergency situations.
