RATIFY execution of a contract with Aristotle, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $110,000 to provide constituent
services application software for the Board of Supervisors' offices for the three-year period of June 1, 2012 through
May 31, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$110,000 County General Fund; Budgeted, Board of Supervisors. No additional fiscal impact from the spending
authorization granted on December 6, 2011.
BACKGROUND:
On December 6, 2011, the Board of Supervisors authorized the Chair-Board of Supervisors, or designee, to execute a
contract with Aristotle, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $110,000 for constituent services application software for the
period January 21, 2012 through December 31, 2012. As a result of additional negotiation, the contract that was
executed has a three-year term of June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2015 rather than the one-year term previously
authorized by the Board. Ratification of the extended term under the same annual provisions is requested.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The executed contract will bear effective dates outside of the dates set forth in the December 6, 2011 board order.
