FISCAL IMPACT: 100% grant funding No County match BACKGROUND: First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families has a funding opportunity of $1,200,000 annually for up to 5 years to provide home visiting services to support families, promote positive parenting, nutrure strong parent-child relationships. health development and to prevent child maltreatment. The department plans to submit a grant application to support the Community Services Bureau Home Visiting early care and education program. The proposal will be to provide home visiting services county-wide.
