Subject:309 Diablo Road, Danville – Second Amendment to Lease for the District 2 Supervisor
BACKGROUND:
In 1997, tenant improvements were made to this office space by the landlord, with input by the County, so that
this office could serve as a County Supervisor’s district office. Since then, the office has served as the district
office for five County Supervisors. Supervisor Andersen has decided that this office will serve as her District 2
office and has requested that the County extend the lease for four more years. Approval of the Second Amendment
to Lease will allow the lease to be extended and provide for a district office for Supervisor Andersen.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the Lease is not approved, the lease term will not be extended, and other office space will have to be found for
use by the District 2 Supervisor.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
