HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04092013 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment 5067 authorizing additional revenue in the amount of $55,295 from accumulated depreciation of Fleet Equipment #8421 for Sheriff Marine Patrol. FISCAL IMPACT: The Sheriff Marine Patrol Division is replacing one patrol boat to be funded with the accumulated depreciation of $55,295. Additional funding is to be provided by the Sheriff Marine Patrol. The replacement is funded through the General Fund (100300). BACKGROUND: Sheriff Marine Patrol is responsible for providing marine patrol services for the waterways under the jurisdiction of Contra Costa County. Fleet Equipment #8421, 1996 Almar Sounder CC, V-Hull Boat, was returned to the custody of the State of California. The Office of The Sheriff is utilizing accumulated depreciation to fund its replacement. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Without replacement, the Sheriff Marine Patrol will be restricted in their ability to police County waterways. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
