HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04092013 - C.05RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE the Arlington Avenue Curb Ramp project contingency fund increase of $13,500 for a new contingency fund total of $28,700, and new payment limit of $180,702, effective April 9, 2013. ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/166 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Sposeto Engineering, Inc., for the Arlington Avenue Curb Ramp project, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Kensington area. Project No. 0662-6R4207 FISCAL IMPACT: Project was funded by 100% Local Road funds. BACKGROUND: The contingency fund increase is necessary to compensate the contractor for required extra work. The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of March 7, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.
