HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03192013 - C.64RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #23-491-6 with The CJS Solutions Group, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $1,200,000, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to project analysis and implementation of the Epic Electronic Health Record System, for the period from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Approval of Contract #23-491-6 will allow Contractor to continue to provide services through December 31, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, the Health Services Department would not be able to implement and support the EHR initiative. This is the only Contractor able to provide the necessary expertise. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable.
