HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03122013 - C.89RECOMMENDATION(S): AUTHORIZE relief of cash shortage in Fund 833000 - General Receipts for the County Administrator's Office, in the amount of $524, as recommended by the Auditor-Controller. FISCAL IMPACT: Cash shortage in the amount of $523.87 will be funded with 100% General Fund. BACKGROUND: In accordance with the provisions of Administrative Bulletin 207.7, the Auditor-Controller has verified and concurs with the report of a cash shortage in the amount of $523.87 in fund 833000 - General Receipts for the Office of Revenue Collections. The Office of Revenue Collections was dissolved in December, 2010. This shortage occurred during the departmental close-out period. Once the negative balance is cleared, the fund will be closed out permanently. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The shortage will not be relieved, cash will not be in balance, and the fund will not be closed.
