HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03122013 - C.76RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Child Support Services, or designee, to execute a contract containing modified indemnification language with GARDA CL WEST, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $12,420 for armored transport services for the period August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This service will be fully funded through allocations from the Federal Government at 66% and State of California at 34%. There is no cost to the county. BACKGROUND: The Department of Child Support Services requires the use of an armored transport service to pick up and deposit currency, coins, and checks from our office. After conducting a Request for Proposals via the General Services Department on behalf of several County departments that needed such a service, GARDA CL WEST, Inc., was chosen as the service contractor.
