Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21251 to cancel Accountant II position #8402 and Account Clerk
Advanced level position #9002 and add one Account Clerk Supervisor position (JDHD) at salary level K6X 1340
($3906.09-$4988.23) and one Clerk Experienced level position (JWXB) at salary level 3RH 0750 ($2608.38 -
3236.32) in the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost savings of approximately $19,682.
BACKGROUND:
The Account Clerk Supervisor position and the Clerk Experienced Level position will be assigned to the Public
Health Finance division. The Account Clerk Supervisor position is needed to oversee and lead the work of the
accounting clerical staff in the unit. Currently, there are 5 clerical positions. The Clerk - Experienced Level position
will be providing general clerical support to various management staff in the unit. The Accountant II and Account
Clerk Advanced level positions are being canceled as cost offset as they are no longer needed.
