HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03122013 - C.40RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21250 to cancel one (1) Mental Health Clinical Specialist (VQSB) position (No. 7649), at salary level QT2 ($4214.34 - $6256.22), and add one (1) Registered Nurse- Experienced Level (VWXD) position, at salary level L3H 0400 ($7197.63 - $8022.34), in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $52,625, including pension costs of $12,708, and will be funded with Contra Costa Health Plan member premiums. BACKGROUND: With the increase in medically complicated Seniors and Persons with Disabilities (SPDs) members and the upcoming dually eligible clients joining the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP), it is necessary to have case managers that can provide health education, health coaching and health management of clients with multiple medical care needs. To address the complex needs of its members, CCHP requires additional case management nursing support. Therefore, the department is requesting to cancel one Mental Health Clinical Specialist position and add one Registered Nurse- Experienced Level position.
