Transfer for Annexations to )
County Service Area L-100 ) Resolution No. 86/541
(Street Lighting) )
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 80/1464 adopted by the Board of Supervisors on
December 16, 1980 provided that there would be zero property tax transfer
for annexations to County Service Areas L-32, L-42, L-43 and L-46; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has initiated action to consolidate
County Service Areas L-32, L-42, L-43 , and L-46 to form a new County
Service Area designated L-100; and
WHEREAS, Section 99 .1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code requires a
property tax exchange agreement for annexations to County Service Area
L-100;
THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
RESOLVED that there shall be zero property tax transfer for annexations to
County Service Area L-100 . This resolution shall apply to all annexations
to County Service Area L-100, as submitted or revised by the Local Agency
Formation Commission, except for annexations of territory served by other
County Service Areas that provide street lighting services. This
resolution does not change the property tax revenues accruing to other
agencies serving the territories to be annexed or the affected districts
right to collect taxes for existing bonded indebtedness.
