HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02262013 - C.67RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-897 with Women’s Health Partners of California, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $450,000, to provide professional OB/GYN services for the Contra Costa Health Plan for the period from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. Under Contract #27-897, the Contractor will provide professional OB/GYN services to Contra Costa Health Plan members, through December 31, 2014.
