Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#24-681-73(11) with LTP CarePro, Inc., (dba Pleasant Hill Manor), a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to
exceed $144,000, to provide Augmented Board and Care Services, for the period from February 1, 2013 through
January 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment funds. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of the County's population in that it provides augmentation of room and board,
and twenty-four hour emergency residential care and supervision to eligible mentally disordered clients, who are
specifically referred by the Mental Health Program Staff and who are served by County Mental Health Services.
On February 28, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-681-73(10) with LTP CarePro, Inc., (dba
Pleasant Hill Manor), for the period February 1, 2012 through

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
January 31, 2013, for the provision of augmented board and care services for County-referred mentally disordered
clients.
Approval of Contract #24-681-73(11) will allow the Contractor to continue to provide augmented board and care
services, through January 31, 2014.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County residents will not receive services provided by this contractor.
