Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-448-2 with Garda CL West, Inc., a corporation, effective January 31, 2013, to
amend Contract #23-448 (as amended by Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-448-1), to increase the payment
limit by $20,532, from $83,560 to a new payment limit of $104,092, and extend the term from January 31, 2013
through January 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On May 5, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-448 (as amended by Amendment/Extension
Agreement #23-448-1) with Garda CL West, Inc. for the period from February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2013, for
the provision of armored transport services.
Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-448-2 will allow Contractor to provide additional
armored transport services through January
