HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02052013 - C.86RECOMMENDATION(S): RECEIVE the 2012 Annual Report of the El Sobrante Municipal Advisory Council (ESMAC), as recommended by Supervisor Gioia. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: On June 18, 2002, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2002/377, which requires that each regular and ongoing board, commission, or committee shall annually report to the Board of Supervisors on its activities, accomplishments, membership attendance, required training/certification (if any), and proposed work plan or objectives for the following year, on the second Tuesday of December. The attached reports fulfill this requirement for the El Sobrante Municipal Advisory Council (ESMAC). CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The El Sobrante Municipal Advisory Council (ESMAC) will not be in compliance with the requirement set forth in Resolution No. 2002/377. PI was finalized this year  Two members participate in the El Sobrante Valley Planning and Zoning Advisory Committee on a monthly basis  Through law enforcement attendance we are able to identify problem areas and citizens problems  Addressing the homeless problem in El Sobrante with county staff and the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce ; this is an ongoing bad situation where many are drunk in Public.
