BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) period from May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013, with modifications to the General Conditions from the standard County format. At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, the utilization during the term of the agreement was higher than originally anticipated. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment/extension is not approved, payment to Contractor for services will not be approved and patients will experience longer wait times and potentially go untreated, due to reduced access to the medical services provided at Contractor’s clinic.
