HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02052013 - C.56RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-517-4 with R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc., a professional corporation, effective November 1, 2012 to amend Contract #26-517-2 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-517-3) to increase the payment limit by $170,000, from $755,000 to a new payment limit of $925,000 with no change in the original term of April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc., for the period from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2014, for the provision of radiology services including clinic coverage, consultation and on-call services. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-517-4 will allow the Contractor to provide additional radiology clinic coverage for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, through March 31, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, patients requiring these medical services at Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers would experience longer wait times and possibly go untreated CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
