corporation, to pay the County an amount not to exceed $34,238, for the County’s Public Health Monument
Community, Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Project, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014.

Lower income residents of the monument corridor neighborhood suffer disproportionately from obesity related
diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke. In addition, residents of Concord have higher rates of bicycle

Concord Community Economic Development Organization has led the effort to establish local policies and programs
