HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02052013 - C.03RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Public Works Director, to execute a purchase order with Pape Machinery, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $114,000, for the purchase of a 2013 John Deere 310SK Backhoe Loader for Public Works Road and Drainage Maintenance, Countywide. (100% Local Road Funds) FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Local Road Funds. BACKGROUND: The Maintenance Division uses this equipment to perform scheduled routine maintenance as well as emergency responses. This type of equipment has been a part of the road fleet for over 40 years and is an integral part in our ability to perform our work. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Inability to maintain the Road and Drainage infrastructure and respond to emergency situations.
