RESOIITI ON OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC STREET
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Pursuant to Chapter 3, "General Vacation Procedure," of Part 3 of
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, this Board declares its
intention to vacate the portion of the County street commonly known as
Dutra Road lying west of the easterly line of the AT & SF Railroad, more
particularly described in attached Fdibit "A". This proposed vacation is
generally located in the area of Martinez. A map of the portion to be
vacated is on file with the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on Tuesday, October 14, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. in its
Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California;
to hear evidence offered by any interested party as to whether this is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
This Board DIRECTS the Clerk to have notice of this matter published
in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in this
County, which is selected as the newspaper most likely to give notice to
persons interested in the proposed vacation, for at least two successive
weeks before the hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code,, .
Sections 8320 and 8322. Notice shall also be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the hearing,
in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section 8323.

EXHIBIT "A"
All, of that County road known as Dutra Road declared a public road and
described on June 3, 1895 in Road Book 1 at page 413, records of Contra
Costa County, State of California, lying west of the easterly line of the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right of way.
RESERVING THEREFROM: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the
Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time
to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and
renew those existing and in place . utilities, as of the date of recording
this instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof
proposed to be abandoned , including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.
