BACKGROUND: Established on November 18, 1969, by Board Resolution 69/765, the purpose of the County Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee is to advise the Board of Supervisors and the Sheriff's Department on the needs of the Alamo/Danville community for extended police services which shall include, but not be limited to, enforcement of the State Vehicle Code, crime prevention, and litter control. The County Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee is comprised of nine members who each serve a two year term. Supervisor Andersen advertised for applicants, met with each of the applicants, current members as well as new applicants, and is pleased to make these recommendations.
