HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01082013 - C.162RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with StarFire Development, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $850,000 to provide consulting, design, development, and programming services for the Automated Regional Information Exchange System (ARIES) Project for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: $850,000.00. User agency Fees. Budgeted. BACKGROUND: In September 2009, the Sheriff's Office contracted with Hunter Research, Inc. to provide ARIES Justice Integration Project software development, programming, and maintenance. The ARIES project was approved by the ARIES Operations Committee and originally adopted in concept by the County Justice Automation Advisory Committee (JAAC) for countywide justice and law enforcement system integration and information sharing.
