HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01082013 - C.66RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/11 to approve and authorize the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with the California Department of Aging to increase the payment limit by $235,205 for a new amount not to exceed $4,012,910 to include One-Time-Only funding for Title III and Title VII programs for the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: Per California Department of Aging, Agreement AP-1213-07, Amendment 1, County to receive an amended funding amount of $4,012,910 to include One-Time-Only funding of $235,205. 100% federal. No County match. BACKGROUND: The contract amendment provides for the allocation of reconciled One-Time-Only (OTO) Title III and VII funds from the Area Agency on Aging Fiscal Year 2011-2012 contract and the reallocation of unspent federal funds. The contract amendment increases funds provided to County and will be used to enhance or maintain the current program service levels.
