Subject:Assignment of Easement over APN 087-341-020 State Route 4 Railroad to Loveridge Road, Pittsburg area.
BACKGROUND:
The County acquired various property rights in connection to the highway widening project. One of the property
rights acquired was a grant of easement for public utilities from PUSD because several utilities needed to be
relocated to accommodate the widening of Highway 4. The County needs to assign the easement rights to the City.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The City would not have the easement rights as required by the approved plans and specifications for the project
and the County would retain ownership of a Grant of Easement in the City.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
