HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11132012 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-491-5 with CJS Solutions Group, LLC, a limited liability company, effective October 1, 2012, to amend Contract #23-491 (as amended by subsequent Amendment Agreements #23-491-1 through #23-491-4), to increase the payment limit by $1,100,000, from $6,925,000 to a new payment limit of $8,025,000, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recover and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-491-5 will allow the Contractor to provide additional hours of services through December 31, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, County will not receive additional services from Contractor that are necessary for the successful implementation of the Epic Electronic Health Record System.
