ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21186 to add one (1) Assistant District Attorney-Exempt (2KD3)
position at salary level B85 2437 ($11,603 - $14,104) and cancel one (1) Deputy District Attorney-Advanced Level
(2KTG) (represented) vacant position #3519 at salary level MA2 2261 ($10,290 - $11,359) in the District Attorneys
Office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action has an annual cost of approximately $26,037 which will be offset by the cancellation of
one (1) Deputy District Attorney- Advanced level position and AB 109 Realignment funding.
BACKGROUND:
This position assists the elected District Attorney and the Chief Assistant District Attorney in the oversight of the
daily operations of the District Attorney’s office; participates in and advises on major legal, policy, and budget
decisions affecting the District Attorney’s office; supervises staff including subordinate supervisors; as well as many
other responsibilities related to managing the District Attorney’s office. This position will also take on the
management of all AB 109 Realignment responsibilities for the District Attorney’s office.
