ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/470 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc.
for the Deer Valley Road Safety Improvements South of Chadbourne Road project, as recommended by the Public
Works Director. County Project No. 0662-6R4030-12, Federal Project No. HSIPL-5928(089)
APPROVE the project contingency fund increase of $6,000 for a new contingency fund total of $43,852, and a new
payment limit of $422,372, effective November 13, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Project is funded by 55% Federal HSIPL funds, 43% Proposition 1B funds, and 2% Local Road funds.
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special
provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of October 16, 2012.
