HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11062012 - C.67RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-577-9 with All Health Services, Corporation, effective September 1, 2012, to amend Contract #26-577-6, to increase the payment limit by $1,600,000, from $1,800,000 to a new payment limit of $3,400,000, with no change in the original term of October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On October 25, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-577-6 with All Health Services, Corporation, for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2013, for the provision of temporary medical staffing services including Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical, Speech, Respiratory and Occupational Therapist, and Psychiatric Technicians. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers and the County's Main Detention Facility would not have appropriate medical staff coverage during staff absences therefore patients would go untreated. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
