Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #74-085-11 with BAS Resources, Inc. (DBA BAS Healthcare), a corporation, effective
August 1, 2012, to amend Contract #74-085-10, to increase the payment limit by $81,000, from $54,000 to a new
payment limit of $135,000, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (Rate increased)
BACKGROUND:
In January 2012, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract
#74-085-10 with BAS Resources, Inc. (DBA BAS Healthcare), for the period from January 1, 2012 through
December 31, 2012 for the provision of recruitment services for psychiatrists for Contra Costa Regional Medical
Center and Contra Costa Health Centers including, but not limited to recruiting, screening, and interviewing qualified
pharmacists who the County may hire for permanent placement.
