HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11062012 - C.35RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE a Rental Agreement with TSPS Partnership, for thirty (30) parking spaces at 2555 El Portal Drive, San Pablo for use by the Health Services Department, on a month to month basis beginning November 1, 2012, under the terms and conditions set forth in the Rental Agreement. (WLP790) AUTHORIZE the Director of Public Works, or designee, to EXECUTE the Rental Agreement on behalf of the County. FISCAL IMPACT: The Rental Agreement will obligate the County to pay rent of $600.00 per month. The Rental Agreement was anticipated and budgeted in the Health Service Department’s approved Fiscal Year 2012/13 budget. (Funding source: Org. #5972) BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department – Mental Health Division (HSD) is leasing office space at 2523 El Portal Drive in San Pablo and needs additional parking for its staff and clientele. This Agreement will provide for the additional parking spaces in the parking lot of the adjacent building at 2555 El Portal Drive. As a condition of the rental agreement the property owner requires the County to indemnify them.
