ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21160 to transition one (1) Community Health Worker II - Project
(VKV1) (represented) position #11176 at salary level QT5 1043 ($2,918-$3,547) and its incumbent into the Merit
System as a permanent full-time Community Health Worker II (VKVB) (represented) position in the Health Services
Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, there will be no cost associated with this action.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department is requesting to transition one Community Health Worker II - Project position (and
incumbent) into the merit system. This incubment meets the criteria for transfer into the merit system as outlined in
Personnel Management Regulations, Section 1603. The position is assigned to the Public Health division and works
within the Health Care Interpreter Network and the need for the position will be ongoing.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the incumbent of this position will not receive the benefits of having a merit system
position.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
No Impact.
