Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #23-403-3 with Robert Half International, Inc., a corporation, effective August 20, 2012, to
amend Contract #23-403-1 (as amended by Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-403-2), to increase the payment
limit by $750,000, from $1,250,000 to a new payment limit of $2,000,000, with no change in the original term of
July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by the Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program
of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On August 2, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-403-1 (as amended by Amendment/Extension
Agreement #23-403-2) with Robert Half International, Inc. for the period from July 1, 2011 through December 31,
2012, for the provision of temporary staffing services for specialized consulting and computer programming for the

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
Technology Division.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-403-3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional temporary
staffing services through December 31, 2012.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, the Department may face a delay and may not be able to complete the deadline
that supports the EHR. project.
