HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10232012 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent or designee, on behalf of the Public Works Director to execute an increase to the payment limit of Blanket Purchase Order 39273 with California Envelope Company (CEC) for envelopes by $100,000, to an amount of $199,000, to meet demand for the period October 01, 2011 through September 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of envelopes is charged to the General Fund. BACKGROUND: This Purchase Order allows Print and Mail Services to order envelopes for mailings and packets, as well as place orders on behalf of departments. Departments place orders through Print and Mail's OneSource website. The cost of envelopes is charged back to user departments. Pricing is based on Bidsync bid #1109-002. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, costs for envelopes may increase. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
