Subject:Correction to Grant Deed with Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, Alamo area
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
15, 1989,(1989 Grant Deed) reserving both “Surface Access Easements” and “Sub-surface Facility Easements”
for their sanitary sewer pipelines and related appurtenances (Facilities) that were in place.
When the District granted the property to the County, the District reserved both surface and subsurface easement
areas based on the best information available at the time of execution of the 1989 Grant Deed, and allowed the
parties the right to correct the description of the easement areas upon determination of the precise location of their
existing or future Facilities.
The District has completed its mapping of the precise location of its easement areas that were reserved in the 1989
Grant Deed and would now like to correct the descriptions to describe the precise location of their Facilities. All
other terms and conditions of the 1989 Grant Deed will remain in full force and effect.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The legal description and plat map will not be correct.
