HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10162012 - C.90RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute an amendment to PO# 41739 with R-Computer to add $100,000 to a new total amount not to exceed $450,000 for miscellaneous minor computer hardware, parts, and Hewlett Packard printers, with no change in the original term through April 14, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Health Services Department's Information Technology Unit supports approximately 4000 computers, printers, and related hardware devices. This Purchase Order will allow our technical staff to have the resources to make repairs to PC systems, printers, and related hardware devices at our hospitals, clinics, and other departments. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, the Department will not be able to provide needed repairs to PC systems, printers, and other hardware devices. This Purchase Order is critical to the day-to-day operations for providing minor computer parts for technical repairs.
