HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10162012 - C.75RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Conservation and Development
Director, a purchase change order with ImagingTek to extend the termination date from August 31, 2012 to February
28, 2013 and increase the payment limit by $100,000 to a new payment limit of $199,950 for converting Micro
Film/Fiche permits into an electronic format for the Building Inspection Division of the Conservation and
Development Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Land Development Fees.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Conservation and Development (DCD), through the Purchasing Agent, executed a purchase order
in August 2011, with ImagingTek to convert Micro Film/Fiche permits into an electronic format for the Building
Inspection Division of DCD. ImagingTek came in with the lowest bid in 2011. This project will help our department
access all permits via electronic format, thereby helping DCD reduce its storage needs and costs associated with it.
The project is not yet complete and this Board Order will allow Imaging Tech, who is already familiar with this
process, to continue working on this project.
