FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases revenue and expenditures by $89,500, with no change to net County cost. BACKGROUND: With the CCC Office of the Sheriff switching over to the new 800 MHz radio system, it has become necessary to purchase new radios and have them professionally installed in our helicopters by an FAA certified Avionics Specialist. When it comes to navigation, communication and engine systems monitoring equipment, APR Aviation is knowledgeable about which systems will work best in each particular aircraft.
