APPROVE the conveyance of access rights to Leo Master, Maria Master, Paul L. Master, Constantina L. Master and
Dimitrios L. Master, in accordance with the Grant of Access Rights Agreement and pursuant to Streets & Highways
Code § 960; Project No. 0662-6R4255-10.
DETERMINE that the conveyance of Access Rights is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or
interfere with the County’s use of the property.
AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute the Grant of Access Rights on behalf of Contra Costa
County.
AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, to execute the Grant of Access Right Agreement on behalf of Contra Costa
County.
DIRECT the Real Property Division of the Public Works Department to cause said Grant of Access Rights to be
delivered to Leo Master, Maria Master, Paul L. Master, Constantina L. Master and Dimitrios L. Master.

Subject:Approve the Grant of Access Rights to Master et al, Brentwood area. (Streets & Highways Code § 960)
FISCAL IMPACT:
The activity is funded by 100% Local Road Funds.
BACKGROUND:
The County is planning to construct safety improvements along Vasco Road which will include a cement median
barrier. As part of this project, County requires Leo Master, Maria Master, Paul L. Master, Constantina L. Master
and Dimitrios L. Master (Owners) to quitclaim their current access rights located at STA 348 and accept new
access rights located at STA 360+00.
The Owners have entered into a Grant of Access Rights Agreement in which the Owners agree to quitclaim their
current access rights and accept new access rights.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Property Owners will not obtain new rights to access their property.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
